IT Manager

ITIL, Service Delivery, M365, Azure

My client, a leader and innovator in the world of Energy sector analytics is looking for a talented IT Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work in a creative, intellectually stimulating environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain the internal IT strategy and roadmap to support the needs of the
  • business as it grows.
  • Lead, develop and scale the global IT organisation to provide an exceptional service
  • across all staff and offices.
  • Project Manage internal IT projects to ensure they are effective, timely and under
  • control.
  • Improve scalability, efficiency and quality (e.g. through automation, simplification,
  • improved tooling).
  • Ensure all IT infrastructure (e.g. VC equipment, networks, firewalls, VPNs, AWS
  • servers, storage, laptops) are reliable, secure, scalable and cost effective.
  • Manage and secure our third-party software (cloud services + locally installed).
  • Line Manage our IT team and play a key role in helping the team to develop.
  • Managed third-party IT suppliers around the world to provide high-quality, costeffective IT support globally.
  • Drive security best practices throughout IT and align wide security
  • practices and compliance.
  • Manage financial forecast, optimise IT budgets, and define business cases where
  • needed.

What we are looking for

  • A track record for successfully leading and scaling an IT function in a medium sized
  • business with multiple offices (preferably in multiple countries).
  • Have a passion for service-excellence and delighting our internal staff with an IT
  • capability which is highly reliable and helps them to work more efficiently.
  • Delivery oriented and happy to role-up your sleeves to get things done.
  • Proven experience of ITIL processes
  • Cloud Technologies highly desirable

Oxford-based, with flexibility around hybrid working

Salary up to £75,000 plus benefits.

    The client is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join their dynamic team, focusing on their innovative payments and billing product within the telecommunications sector. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of their payment solutions, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of their customers and industry standards.

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead the product development life cycle from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to define product roadmap and priorities.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends in telecommunications payments and billing.
