About the Project:
Join a team to lead a migration project onto a more advanced Oracle system. Our client currently operates on an outdated DB6 but is eager to transition to Apex. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing their Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. System Migration: Spearhead the transition from DB6 to Apex, ensuring a smooth and efficient migration process.
 
  1. Consultation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide expert insights on the most suitable solutions.

  1. Deliverable Creation: Take ownership of creating deliverables and establishing a timeline for project completion.
 
  1. Innovation: Bring your expertise to the table by suggesting improvements and innovations that align with the client\'s goals.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Oracle Developer/Consultant.
  • Strong background in system migrations, specifically from DB6 to Apex.
  • Ability to work independently and create deliverables with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    • Completion and submission of required paperwork
    • Adhere to relevant Health & Safety and codes of conduct in the workplace
    • Responsible for company vehicles, tools, and stock


    Essential Criteria:
    • Minimum 2+ years’ service and installation experience (ideally within AV, but experience with Smart Home/ general Electrical Installation, kiosks, cash machines etc. will be considered)
    • Full UK driving license
    • Ability to pass a DBS check
    • A good level of English – spoken and written
    • Good timekeeping, reliability, and a professional manner
    • The ability to be flexible within a working week as shifts can change between days and nights
    • Ability to manage your own workload
    • Great communication skills

    £40 DOE +bonus and overtime opportunities
