Remote based, with occasional travel
£400.00 per day outside IR35 – 3 month rolling contract

A global telecommunication provider is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join their team on an initial 3-month contract. We are looking for candidates from Telcoms or Utilities sectors, able to take ownership of projects and provide strategic direction to H&S improvements.

Role purpose:
  • Support Network Development at operational level to improve performance and reduce risk.
  • Support the Health & Safety Authority for Network Development to identify opportunities for improvement; implement change to improve performance and reduce risk.
  • Support strategic improvements for the safe delivery of operational activities.
  • Further support operational functions in providing reasoned and competent advice on solutions on how to deliver safe operational activities.
Key responsibilities:
  • Implement strategic improvements/programs at area/dept level
  • Hold internal functions accountable to the client\'s legal duties and policies
  • Health & Safety Engagement sessions with suppliers assigned in each business unit
  • Hold suppliers and internal resources accountable for legal duties
  • Review and formal approval of project/contract level CPPs
  • Incident investigations
  • Analysis reporting to Health & Safety Authority
To be considered we are looking for:
  • Proven experience in Health & Safety, within Telecommunications or Utilities sectors.
  • Member of industry body at a level of GradIOSH (or final stages of working towards)
  • Completed Health & Safety Diploma (or in the progress of working towards)
  • Experience in change management / implementing change within a business
  • Strong ability to write process, policy and procedural documents
  • Ability to operate in fast paced and challenging environments.

    My client, a leading technology solutions provider to the travel sector is looking for an Agile focused Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis, for an initial 12 month period.  The role will be focussed on a world-leading Customer Management Platform, working as part of a team to develop bespoke features for their end clients.

    Key responsibilities
    • Responsible for large, complex and also smaller projects, coordinating any or all of the following areas: feasibility, functional specification, user acceptance test, regression test, Production System verification and functional support of the customer
    • Coordinate and conduct detailed functional analysis of complex requirements
    • Manage and control dependencies with teams, inside and outside the DCS area
    • Size specification, testing and other relevant phases, providing practical and robust estimates
    • Produce high-quality documentation that is clear and easy for the target audience to understand
    • Interface with relevant departments to identify interactions and ensure functional compatibility


    Essential skills

    • Experience in functional analysis of backend and frontend applications
    • Experience of working with Agile methodologies (SCRUM / SAFe)
    • Experience designing and delivering complex cross-functional features is a plus
    • Experience in Quality Assurance, including with QA automation tools is a plus
    • Good written and oral communication skills.
    Desirable
    • Knowledge of the travel industry; knowledge of Altéa DCS product is a plus
    Rate: £400 per day inside IR35

    Location: 2 days onsite near Heathrow / 3 days remote            
  • Legal Applications Support Analyst
    £60-£70k (DOE)

    A leading London-based law firm is looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for both BAU (system stability, maintenance and enhancements) primarily on the iManage cloud system.

    The ideal candidate will have legal sector experience, and have experience working closely with iManage, including; testing, adjusting system configurations, overseeing third-party integrations, managing software updates, advocating for system enhancements, and maintaining system documentation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot iManage errors. This includes interpreting error messages and diagnosing issues with integrated applications (i.e. MS Office, Outlook, etc.). Must be able to work with vendors and internal technical resources
    • Provide support for our cloud-based iManage application, including updates, configurations, integrations, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
    • Provide support for related systems and integrations, including SPM, DMS Link, SSRS and Power BI reports, other reporting tools, cloud integrations, data warehouse data integrations, and security components.
    • Resolve library, workspace, folder, and document access issues. This will include working with both Service Desk personnel and end users.

    Key skills and Experience:

    • Demonstratable experience with iManage
    • Wider application knowledge, including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat
    • Experience with SSRS, Power BI Reports
    • Experience with both Powershell and SQL scripts
    • Legal Sector experience highly desireable

    Salary range: £60-£70k (DOE)
