Senior Test Analyst – Agile, Azure, C#, Web-based, Appium
Location: London (Hybrid)
Rate: £535/day outside IR35
One of the country’s largest Public Transport Organisations are looking for a Senior Test Analyst for a new programme of work. The successful candidate will be responsible for execution of software testing for bespoke internal web-based systems, prior to release into production. Looking for a test analyst to lead test phases for a new line of core internal web-based systems
The Analyst will utilise a wealth of expertise and implement this to ensure that all software provided meets the quality standards and expectations of the client.
Remote candidates are welcomed, however attendance in the London office is required approximately once every two weeks.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that all aspects of the software are tested to the required standards using Agile practices, working with guidance, and reporting to Technology Development and Stakeholders.
- In-depth, structured, requirement analysis and subsequent definition of Test Cases, ensuring traceability between testing implementation and the acceptance criteria.
- Assessment and implementation of automated test activities instead of manual testing where more efficient and feasible.
- Ensure all testing is carried out in adherence to the testing standards defined in the overall strategy.
- Create, validate, and report any defects detected within the software, following the defect life cycle documented within the Test Strategy.
- Management of a team of 2-3 Junior Tests Analysts.
- Analysis of Non-Functional requirements and liaising with Architects to provide input to the Non-functional test strategy.
To be considered we are looking for:
- Comprehensive expertise and experience in system testing and QA techniques
- Expertise in systems testing types, practices, methodologies and technologies
- Strong background using Agile in similar capacities
- Broad knowledge and understanding of testing tools and techniques
- Broad knowledge and understanding of Automation or Performance testing
- Broad knowledge and understanding of software architecture for web sites, back office transactional systems and Mobile Apps
