Cable Installation EngineerSouth Manchester
£250.00 per day outside IR35
6 months initially
Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the Installations Team Leader or Network Infrastructure Manager, the Cable Installation and Fault-Finding Technician will be responsible for:
- Conducting installations and troubleshooting of various types of copper cabling.
- Performing installations and fault finding for diverse types of fibre cabling.
- Ensuring accurate termination of both copper and fibre cables.
- Ability to work independently for extended periods, demonstrating self-motivation and reliability.
- Receiving, comprehending, and executing technical instructions effectively.
- Willingness to work overtime with short notice, as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the installation and fault finding of copper and fibre cabling.
- Competency in accurately terminating various types of cables.
- Capability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
- Strong ability to comprehend and implement technical directives.
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
