IT Field Engineer
Rate: €47.50 per hour/€380.00 per day
Location: On site - Hoboken & Olen (near Antwerp)
Must have own vehicle and valid licence. (Travel expenses will not be covered)
Working hours: 08:00 and 16:30. No overtime, no weekend work
Languages: Dutch (fluent) and English (good)
Duration: 6 months+

Role:

Provides support for software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops and servers.
Provides maintenance and support on Unisys legacy products.
May Provide Support for Enterprise Products
Performs disk replacement on enterprise storage products.
Installs and maintains PCs and associated software, networks, servers and peripherals.
Supports network products from operational and maintenance perspectives.
Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required.
Tests and certifies PCs, networks, servers and client approved applications.
Provides follow-up on problems or escalation.
Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanour and dress.
Ensures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.
Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system.

Requirements:

High school degree required.IT knowledge equivalent to at least 2 years of technical institutes, polytechnic or technical school with applicable field service and/or other related technical experience

A least 6 months to 1-year hands on technical experience
Experience with Troubleshooting software and hardware problems.
Ability to test and certify PC, networks, servers and client /Unisys approved software applications and associated peripherals.
Excellent analytical and client communication skills
