Job description
Application Test EngineerSC Cleared, Test Automation
Public Sector
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all aspects of the application are tested to the required standards, working with guidance, and reporting to the Test Lead
- In-depth, structured, requirement analysis and subsequent definition of Test Cases, ensuring traceability between testing implementation and the acceptance criteria.
- Assessment and implementation of automated test activities instead of manual testing where more efficient and feasible.
Skills and Experience:
SC Clearance is highly desirable
- Demonstrable ability to create and execute effective test scripts.
- Experience working in a testing environment across multiple applications.
- Familiarity with a range of testing techniques and formats.
- Beneficial: ISTQB certifications and familiarity with automated testing.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
