An expanding IT Services business requires an experienced IT Operations Engineer to support and manage the IT infrastructure of customer datacentres and offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues in a timely manner, adhering to KPI’s and SLA’s. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT Operations Engineer with experience of providing datacentre support including carrying out storage back-up and recovery, management of tape drives and supporting business continuity planning and testing.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a similar role, providing datacentre support
- Experience in providing customer facing support
- Strong Technical skills around: storage backup & recovery, management of tape drives, supporting business continuity planning and testing, device driver and firmware management, device patching
- Proven experience of server builds, infrastructure hardware support, Windows Server and Unix/Linux
- Excellent customer engagement skills
- Eligible for BPSS and Security Clearance
- Flexibility to travel as required

This role will create and deliver communication and management briefings to programme stakeholders and will lead on how communications will aid in their product areas deliver to their commercial, customer and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Create comprehensive marketing plans, including channel strategies, testing approaches, creative development, measurement plans, and communication retrospectives.
- Investigate incidents and reports, provide expert advice, minimize risks, and ensure regulatory compliance. Manage end-to-end change processes for contractual Terms and Conditions, including regulatory documentation and adhoc mailings. Provide communications expertise for business projects impacting documentation and customer communications.
- Analyse customer touchpoints and marketing channels, focusing on integration opportunities for a seamless customer experience.

The Networks Authority is responsible for designing and optimizing special radio solutions for special event locations. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that solutions align with roadmap and seamlessly integrate with the rest of the network. The Networks Authority will also handle strategic and corporate inbuilding solutions, as well as VIP customer complaints, and provide support during the deployment phases of COWs (Cell on Wheels).
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership:
- Plan, design, and performance tune RAN special coverage solutions for special events.
- Work on inbuilding solutions for strategic and corporate locations, as well as address VIP customer complaints.
- Support RAN deployment phases of COWs, conducting on-site visual inspections and technical reviews with third parties and other teams.
- Engage in stakeholder and vendor management to align roadmaps with network needs.
RAN planning/optimization experience:
- Knowledge of at least one major RAN vendor in the market
- Understanding of Radio network functionality (2G/3G/4G/5G).
- Familiarity with optimization tasks for systems in high-demand locations such as stadiums, transport hubs, concert arenas, etc.
- Experience with designing indoor solutions and multifunctional DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) systems.
- Proficiency in Drive/Walk Testing Analysis.
Project management skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong communication abilities to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
