£215.00 per day inside IR35 - Crewe - based 5 days per week - 3 months initially

A global managed service provider is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join their client\'s team on an initial 3-month basis.

This role is based on-site in Crewe and is inside IR35.

The Role

  • Working in a Modern Workplace Desktop environment
  • Proven BAU skills - working within SLAs resolving incidents and requests
  • Strong 2nd line support experience - Active Directory, Windows Hardening (Group policy), Office 365 administration, Windows 10, Office 365
  • Strong Windows 10 Troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills -from contact centre advisor to Director level
  • Team player - Collaboration skills essential + work on own initiative where needed
  • Documentation
  • Desirable: Technology experience in Bitlocker encryption, SCCM
  • Optional: Technology experience in Intune MDM, VDI

    A large and highly regarded Software company is looking for a candidate experienced with ETL and QA to assist with new development projects both on site and from home.

    Key Deliverables:

    • Configure our existing in-house transformation & injection tool by defining the sequencing of API calls and the mapping data with API calls taking into account customer requirements.
    • Troubleshoot data injection issues, looking at log files and collaborating with other teams to understand root cause
    • Write master test plan and design test cases to validate tool configuration, develop automated test case scripts when applicable and enrich the regression test suites based on the defined test plan.
    • Analyze Webservice APIs and UI screens documentation to build Interface Mapping Documents.
    • Maintain scripts for data population and migration, using Python and VBA
    • Validate and verify configuration deliveries to our customers
    • Track data for KPIs to measure team effort, and contribute to the creation of reports
    • Enforce governance model regarding data ownership, data access and data change lifecycle

    Relevant Work Experience:
    • 1-2 years of experience in IT Domain overall
    • Experience in technical development and scripting

    Retail Project Manager - Information Technology

    £500.00 per day inside IR35 - 3 months - Remote - some customer site travel when required.

    A global managed service provider is seeking a Project Manager with specific retail sector experience.

    The Role:

    • You will work as part of a Larger project team - Not isolated - via a consultancy for their end client.
    • Covers EMEA
    • Coordinating and planning the project to ensure that retail projects are completed successfully.
    • Projects can include digital signage and networking.
    • Ensure that sites that sites have the necessary equipment/infrastructure required.

    Required Experience:

    • Must have had previous experience with office/store refits from a Project Management perspective.

    Information Technology Field Engineer

    €350.00 per day – Supporting upcoming projects in Belgium (Antwerp/Brussels)

    A global client is seeking experienced Field Engineers to work with their end client in Antwerp and Brussels.

    The Role:

    Hardware Maintenance Break/Fix

    Provide multi-vendor hardware maintenance and support for desktops, laptops & associated equipment. Hardware maintenance Services will be provided by the dedicated on-site or dispatched engineers with the relevant skill and Customer training.

    Deskside Software Support

    For software support issues not resolved by the Service Desk, dispatch Deskside Software Support (DSS) will be provided as applicable. When DSS is required, a supplier engineer, with the appropriate skill level, will be dispatched to the end user location to perform software diagnosis and problem resolution.

    DSS Services include onsite resources to:

    Assist in implementing software corrective actions in those cases where the end-user has been unsuccessful under the direction of the Service Desk Re-image end-user device Reinstall existing application software Install new software Troubleshoot Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), Operating System, and Desktop Configuration issues Perform software diagnostics on behalf of the end user in those instances where the end-user has been unsuccessful under the direction of the Service Desk Obtain and relay information to a centralized support facility in those cases that the end user lacks the technical knowledge to do so where applicable Customer specific Asset Management

    Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes De-Installation (IMACD)

    IMACDs occur either as ad hoc requirements as planned with associated SLA or part of large-scale projects. Unplanned or day-to-day IMACD activity is handled in the same manner as hardware maintenance or DSS dispatched support services. Product is generally desktop & laptop computers, printers, network devices & associated peripherals. This includes the following activities: Install/De-install of equipment Install/De-Install software Move of equipment, either within a site or between Customer sites Add features and software to desktops and laptops Change configuration of laptops and desktops Move de-installed equipment to Customer’s storage area

    Project Work

    IT related activity involving additional resource to deliver exceptional service scheduled and coordinated with a Unisys project coordinator or manager. This type of project activity will be covered under the relevant hourly or day rates as an Additional Service Change. As part of the Client Exhibits and FE Handbooks Unisys will ensure that it is clearly identified when product refresh requests are part of planned IMAC services versus Project Work.

    Require to speak Flemish/Dutch and English, French is desirable but not essential.
