Job Description

Managed Print Services Solutions engineer (MPS, Print software, Equitrac, Papercut, SafeCom)
Location: Flexible (Remote and On-Site)
Rate: £300 per day inside ir35 yearly salary is negotiable Around £38k- £42k
Tenure: Contract and perm opportunities available

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Deployment: Implement cutting-edge Print Management software solutions like PaperCut, Equitrac or SafeCom.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Handle additional tasks for existing installations, such as adding new devices and configuring software components.
  • Problem Resolution: Address snagging issues arising from installations and provide swift solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and update documentation for solution installs.
  • Customer Engagement: Visit customer sites for installations and issue resolution, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with various teams within the organization, including Project Management, Pre-Sales, and Technical Helpdesk.
  • Vendor Liaison: Collaborate with software vendors, following established processes to expedite support.
  • Remote Support: Utilize remote access tools to assist customers with complex solution/server-related issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software issues promptly.

Person Specification:
  • Effective Management: Efficiently handle installations and situations to ensure swift issue resolution.
  • Documentation Skills: Proficient in creating and modifying documentation.
  • Team Player: Contribute positively to our well-established Post Sales team with a \"can-do\" attitude.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to various work environments, including remote, office-based, and client-facing settings.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with managed print solution software (PaperCut, Equitrac, SafeCom, Uniflow, etc.) and print hardware (HP, Ricoh, Xerox, Kyocera, Konica Minolta, etc.).
  • Bonus Skills: Understanding of scanning solutions or workflow/document management solutions (eCopy, AutoStore, Therefore, Output Manager, etc.).
  • IT Expertise: Proficiency in networking, Servers, cloud, and Active Directory.
  • Team Player: Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Pressure Handling: Ability to work under pressure within specific SLAs and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: Methodical and detail-oriented approach.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to changing demands.

    An award winning digital media agency is looking for an AV Installation engineer to deliver digital/AV installations in a field-based role. This role will provide exceptional service to an impressive portfolio of clients, delivering projects, solutions and support to a variety of AV equipment and systems.

    Responsibilities:
    • Installation of AV equipment
    • Installation of pole mounting systems and associated bracketry
    • Diagnose and resolve any issue with AV and IT equipment
    • Maintenance and service of AV equipment
    • Have great communication skills with your colleagues and our clients
    • To produce accurate work to a high professional standard paying attention to detail
    • Completion and submission of required paperwork
    • Adhere to relevant Health & Safety and codes of conduct in the workplace
    • Responsible for company vehicles, tools, and stock


    Essential Criteria:
    • Minimum 2+ years’ service and installation experience (ideally within AV, but experience with Smart Home/ general Electrical Installation, kiosks, cash machines etc. will be considered)
    • Full UK driving license
    • Ability to pass a DBS check
    • A good level of English – spoken and written
    • Good timekeeping, reliability, and a professional manner
    • The ability to be flexible within a working week as shifts can change between days and nights
    • Ability to manage your own workload
    • Great communication skills

    £40 DOE +bonus and overtime opportunities
