1st/2nd Line Support Analyst

£220.00 per day inside IR35, 3 - 6 months, Derry, Northern Ireland

A global managed service provider is seeking a 1st/2nd Line Support Analyst to join their end client\'s team on an initial 3-month contract.

The Role:

This role is to provide a full helpdesk and IT support service to all staff on-site in Derry, Northern Ireland.

  • Team player - Collaboration skills essential + work on own initiative
  • Documentation
  • Proven BAU skills - working within SLAs resolving incidents and requests
  • 2nd Line support experience - AD, Group policy, Windows security Hardening, Office 365 administration experience, DHCP, DNS, Windows 10, Office 365
  • Extremely strong 2nd line support but looking to grow: Bitlocker encryption, Intune MDM, SCCM, VDI
  • Maintenance tasks: Patch management, Operating System security policies and procedures
  • Technology Knowledge: Microsoft Intune (MDM), Apple Mac (JAMF), Bitlocker


  • A minimum of 1-2 years\' experience of working in an IT Helpdesk environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of all MS Office products/Windows Operating Systems
  • Familiar with hardware support; laptops, PCs and printers/scanners.
