Senior Core Engineer
Permanent
Location: Warrington and remote
Salary: £55k per annum
A leading telecommunications company are looking for a Senior Core Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be the main point of contact for the WiFi installed core equipment at the Data Centre, as well as the network infrastructure installed at customer cores.

Responsibilities:
- Authorization point for approval of wireless site surveys
- Responsible for Data Centre core equipment and relevant controls
- Escalation point for configuration of equipment including wireless controllers, switches, access points & routers
- Liaise with contractors who will be responsible for cable and AP installation
- Regularly review Risk Assessment and Method Statement reports
Skills/Experience:
- Expert understanding of the OSI Model
- 5+ years working in a similar role
- Expert understanding of wired and wireless network architecture, specifically WiFi technologies
- Ekahau and/or AirMagnet site survey experience
- CCNA and CCNP
- Autotask experience
- Ruckus experience
