Software Asset Manager

£400.00 per day outside IR35 - 12 months - London/Remote - SC Cleared

A global managed service provider is seeking an SC Cleared Software Asset Manager to work on a project for their end client. This role is hybrid working between London/Remote.

Role:

This role involves providing services as part of a small established team who work closely with the client and external software vendors.

The role covers the life cycle of a software license purchase including:

  • Liaising with the requestor, ensuring that the best option is identified.
  • Obtaining quotes from vendors
  • Liaising with finance and commercial to raise orders
  • Providing software and licenses to requestors
  • Managing annual renewals
  • Maintaining the software asset register
  • Conducting compliance reviews

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all stakeholder levels.
  • The ability to learn new skills quickly and with confidence.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make rational decisions considering relevant risks and taking responsibility for such decisions.
  • Background in Service Management Capabilities and experience of working with Service Management toolsets.
  • Strong skills and experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel.
  • Experience of working with personnel in both multi locations and virtually is essential.
  • Experienced (but not essential as full training will be given) in supporting Software Asset Management in renewals, purchases, audits, and software consultancy.

Please note you must have a valid SC Clearance to be considered for the contract.
