Senior Developer
£635.00 per day outside IR35 - 12 months initially - Remote/London (once per month)
A public organisation is seeking experienced Senior level Developers to join a project from the beginning of 2023.
The Requirement:
- Design, build and enhance integrated Back Office solutions using Microsoft Development Technologies.
- Work with product owners, test analysts, delivery leads and solution architects to establish an optimal solution which meets requirements, adheres to technical strategy and cost.
- This project will be focused on Payments & Autopay
- The Authority will be undertaking bespoke development in delivering the end-to-end RUC solution, so the resource will need to integrate with several bespoke data sources written by other parties, other working areas of the programme and project or engage with 3rd parties when necessary.
Deliverables:
- On-Boarding and knowledge transfer from existing development team
- Service Provider Team should be able to deliver changes into production without assistance of existing Authority development team.
- Software Design, Development, and Implementations
- Enhancements and changes to the systems as agreed with the Senior Product Owner, Development Team and the Authority to support the Team deliverables.
- Every 2 weeks to align with sprint scope and wider project deliverables
Key Knowledge/Skills
- Expert agile practices with proven experience
- Expert in industry standard development methodologies and tools
- C# .Net, C# .NET Core
- TDD, Object Oriented Design, Clean Code Techniques
- Expert knowledge in the following Azure technologies (including but not limited to) :
- API Manager, Active Directory
- Functions, Service Bus
- SQL Server, CosmosDB, Storage
- Azure DevOps
- Bicep
- App Insights
- Demonstrable experience of working on high-volume Back Office transactional systems
- Understanding of payment gateway migration/integration
- Understanding of merchant account processing/setup
- EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and Card Payment Processing (Authentication, Authorisation and Settlement)
- An understanding of PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) regulatory requirements
- Understanding of Payments Processing Industry

Duration: 12 months
A large and highly regarded Software company is looking for a candidate experienced with ETL and QA to assist with new development projects both on site and from home.
Key Deliverables:- Configure our existing in-house transformation & injection tool by defining the sequencing of API calls and the mapping data with API calls taking into account customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot data injection issues, looking at log files and collaborating with other teams to understand root cause
- Write master test plan and design test cases to validate tool configuration, develop automated test case scripts when applicable and enrich the regression test suites based on the defined test plan.
- Analyze Webservice APIs and UI screens documentation to build Interface Mapping Documents.
- Maintain scripts for data population and migration, using Python and VBA
- Validate and verify configuration deliveries to our customers
- Track data for KPIs to measure team effort, and contribute to the creation of reports
- Enforce governance model regarding data ownership, data access and data change lifecycle
Relevant Work Experience:- 1-2 years of experience in IT Domain overall
- Experience in technical development and scripting
