Our client, a managed IT service provider is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to work on a contract basis for an end client in London.  This is a technical role and will work across both BAU and project work.


Skills and experience:

  • 5+ years Cisco experience in similar roles
  • Cisco ASA configuration and troubleshooting, via CLI and/or ASDM
  • Familiar with Cisco Routing/Switching (9300 Catalyst, ISR 4000 routers) for configuration and troubleshooting tasks
  • Troubleshooting skills for Cisco ISE, Cisco Wireless (9800 series wireless controller)
  • Experience in both BAU (2nd – 3rd Line troubleshooting)
  • Experience in project work


£450 per day inside IR35

Hybrid: 2-3 days per week on site in London

    We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer with extensive experience in one of the following: F5, Gigamon, or Dynatrace. The ideal candidate will have current or lapsed DV Clearance, along with a deep understanding of application delivery networking, network security principles, and performance optimisation.

     

     

    Responsibilities:

    • expertise in F5, Gigamon, or Dynatrace to enhance application availability, performance, and security.
    • analytics and visibility into network traffic across various infrastructures, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and threat detection.
    • with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance and resolve security incidents promptly.
    • updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve network security measures.

     

     

    Requirements:

     

    • experience working with one or more of the following: F5, Gigamon, or Dynatrace.
    • or lapsed DV Clearance is mandatory.

    Responsibilities:
