Sales Support Administrator

 

IDPP Consulting are a leading supplier in IT & Telco resources and solutions, to clients throughout the UK. Our contractors, being our primary product, are crucial to our success. In order to enhance our contractor experience further, we are looking for a number of Sales Support Administrators to work with our Contractor base, and further support our Sales function.

 

The Role:

Your job will be stay in regular contact with our contractors in order to:

  • Build relationships

  • Ensure our data is always up to date, and accurate

  • Be aware of opportunities that may suit their skill set moving forward.

  • Develop an awareness of market activities to further support and feed through to our sales teams, and new business development tasks.

 

As this is mainly a telephone orientated role, backed up with some direct marketing, we are looking for an excellent customer focused person, that brings with them a bubbly, and warm and confident telephone manner. We need genuine passion for understanding our contractors’ journey/experience with the business, and thereafter. 

Based at home and in our London office, as agreed, you will report directly to our divisional Sales Director who will provide full on-going training and development.

    A leading IT and technology consultancy is looking for an experienced Functional Tester to join their team on a contract basis.  This is a critical role, which will involve reviewing design, code and unit testing, alongside managing a team of up to 10 developers.  The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with Dorado mainframe system, and posses active SC Clearance.

    Key Responsibilities:
    As a Functional Tester, you will be at the forefront of software development process, contributing to the quality and functionality of applications. Your responsibilities will include:
     
    • Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on the project\'s requirements and specifications.
    • Review design, coding, and unit testing. Manage code reviews and ensures that code complies with the standard defined for the project.
    • Create detailed test cases that cover various scenarios and use cases to validate the software\'s functionality.
    • Execute test cases, either manually or using automated testing tools, to identify defects, errors, and discrepancies in the software.
    • Document and report defects found during testing using a defect tracking system. Provide detailed information about the issue, steps to reproduce, and expected behaviour
    • Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes or fixes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
    • Test the application at its limits and boundaries to identify potential issues with data validation, input handling, and system behaviour.
    • Verify the accuracy and integrity of data processing, storage, and retrieval within the application.
    • Test interactions between different components or modules to ensure proper communication and functioning within the application.
    • Collaborate with end-users or stakeholders to perform UAT and ensure that the software meets business requirements and user expectations.

    Skills and Experience:
    SC Clearance is highly desirable for this role
    • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in functional testing and software development.
    • Strong knowledge of software development techniques, including frameworks such as Angular.
    • Proven experience in UAT and QAT environments
    • Familiarity with database concepts and hands-on experience with databases.
    • Knowledge of Dorado or other mainframe technologies.
