Infrastructure Programme Manager

Data Centre/Virtualisation/Deployment/Rollout/Cloud/IT Infrastructure

 

Contract: Permanent

Location: London/Remote

Salary: £85-92k per annum + benefits

 

A leading IT consulting and services company are looking for a Programme Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

 

The role will be a hybrid role with 1 or 2 days per week at the client site, and 2/3 days per week working remotely.

 

This role will allow the successful candidate to work with a variety of clients in different sectors, as well as being part of a company who really value the work/life balance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Agreeing the scope of the programme during start-up and capturing changes and seeking approval
  • Manage and direct work of a multi-functional, multi-location team
  • Manage risks, issues and dependencies
  • Mentor junior members of staff
  • The overall programme/project delivery, including cost accountability
  • Deliver timely communication and concise management reporting to all stakeholders
  • Line management and development of project managers and junior project staff, per the frame

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Key focus around infrastructure programmes, DC migration, work load migrations, End User Transformations and decommissioning.
  • Prince2 Practitioner
  • Minimum 2 years as Programme Manager
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Great organisational skills
