Contracts Project Manager (Construction/Telecommunications)£425.00 per day outside IR35, 6 months initially, Remote/Berkshire
A global telecommunication provider is seeking an experienced Contracts Project Manager to work on several Green energy projects over the next 12 months.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects within the client\'s expanding portfolio.
- Need to be aware of contracts, street works, utilities.
- Collaborating with the legal team to review project contracts and identify opportunities for enforcing financial penalties when necessary.
- Proactively engaging with partners, on project programming, challenging time scales, and addressing any queries.
- Ensuring awareness of time durations, including road permit applications, and obtaining and reviewing program plans with critical path items to identify potential failure points.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the green energy sector or related industries.
- Solid understanding of contract management, street works, and utilities associated with renewable energy projects.
- Familiarity with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) to ensure project compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify critical project elements and potential failure points.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
