It’s competitive, it’s hard work, and it’s thankless at times. It’s also fantastically rewarding, stimulating and extremely satisfying. Finding that candidate his/her ideal job, or finding that client that elusive resource makes all of the toil, heartache and effort worthwhile.
Clients can be dismissive and off-hand at times, but if we put ourselves in their shoes and imagine that we are probably the tenth rather than the first call of the day, then we can begin to understand. That is why we focus on our client relationships. We want our client and candidate contact to be a joy and not a burden.
